Ruby is a different story. He WAS during my time. And, one correction, he came close to winning the Indy 500.. . had it not been an error at a pit stop, he might have won. . .

As for Ruby. . . that poor guy had the worst of luck. . . so much that there were nick names given him. My favorite was "close but no cigar" Loyd.
