although Liverwurst and Braunschweig aren't exactly the same thing , Braunschweig is smoked and Liverwurst isn't
what is Braunschweiger you may be asking yourself , it would be like explaining what hotdogs and bologna is
I don't hear much about Braunschweig anymore
it was a taste I acquired from my Grandfather
some people make sandwiches out of it , or even fry it up ,
I never had that big of a taste for it , about the only way I eat it , is as a spread on crackers
Braunschweig in small doses on a cracker is pretty good , but a big ol'e bite in a sandwich is a little much.................lol
one taste I didn't acquire from my Grandfather was sardines on toast , that one I never got
but sure is one of my memories of my Grandfather , every time you opened my Grandparents refrigerator there was always a couple jars of sardines in the door tray , I can still remember his chasing us Grandkids around trying to get one of us to eat one....................lol
