Lots of celebrating going on in St Louis at the moment. The team is on the field wearing their "Built for October" t-shirts and taking some team photos. There will be champagne popping in the clubhouse in a few minutes. I have to say.... this has been a more impressive run than 2006 or 2011 and it feels absolutely surreal for them to be where they are right now.
This is kind of what the St Louis Blues did the year they won the Stanley Cup. The team was like the worse in the league. And then in January or February, they got hot and stayed there till they actually won it all. Now, I'm NOT saying the Cards will have the same happy ending, but dang.... they sure could. You just never know.
