The numbers say vaccination is having an effect, that is where people have access to it.
The numbers do not say it is over. Hence the NFL policies on unvaccinated players. That would not be necessary if it were all "over."
Right now one of the dangers is that with the virus still circulating, it develops a variant that the vaccines can't touch, in which case, everything starts over again.
