It';s not over and there is nothing good to be gained by pretending that it is. Your very loosely over-optimistic interpretation of the facts leaves out too much. Notice the NFL is not buying your take on this. Their protocols are much stricter. That's because they're not hung up on thinking about this as a matter of individuals. Which by definition it can't be because
it's a pandemic.
The virus is never about ourselves as individuals. It's about reducing the spread by reducing the number of people who can be infected. The more people who get that, the better. The NFL gets that.
In terms of the numbers of people vaccinated, there is 1 state in the USA which has reached over 60% vaccinated, and there are 37 states that are under 50%: [
