But yet according to the NY times the US is one of the most vaccinated countries. Perhaps humans are just narcissistic every?

That comment has nothing to do with what I actually said. You;re not reading what I am saying right.
First. The issue with much of the world, btw, is access. Not debates about "choice."

Partly that's because places that developed the vaccine won't waive the patents on reproducing it. More on that below. (To be clear, though, USA official policy is to support the waiver on intellectual property for COVID vaccines--it just hasn't actually happened, since it's not up to the white house whether that happens.)
Second. The "narcissism" thing refers only to people who actually believe that their own personal feelings about a safe vaccine matter more than the more important issue of public safety. Yet I assume many of the same people are okay with speed limits and no smoking areas etc.? That dichotomy--personal feelings v. public safety with safe vaccines--distorts the whole issue of rights, choice, and freedom.
I do not have the freedom to go around infecting people, unknowingly or otherwise. Even the Supreme Court has ruled on that, decades ago.

The goal is to reduce the barriers to countries producing their own vaccines — particularly for the lowest-income nations.
