I try to do a moderate carb thing where I eat fruit and whole wheat products.
But I will eat surgery sweets, etc. more than I "want" to. And Coke is one of my favorite things. I try to do one soda a week... Now I am doing 2 sodas on the weekend... I am much less strict than I was. Late night snacks are a killer for me as well. I love eating late... Nachos, well dressed.
The hardest thing is avoiding sugar. It is in a lot of foods unnecessarily. I'm not sure why they put sugar in everything but the conspiracy theorist in me thinks its because they know it makes people gain weight... and the bigger people are the more they eat... and the more they eat the better it is for the food industry. Not sure if that's the real reason but it IS what is happening. IMO
