These 4 legged critters do have an intelligence all their own-just not like ours. I honestly believe they can sense things that we are not capable of. I have a neighbor I'm not particularly fond of. My dog has never been near him and he has obviously never mistreated her. But whenever Pepper sees him she does whatever to avoid him. And if he calls to her she will walk back in the house. I really believe that somehow she senses my dislike and acts accordingly. Other neighbors I dearly love she is all over them like a clown dog. Lots of other examples as well.
