If you have disrespectful parents you will have disrespectful kids. If you have parents that display manners you will have like children. If your parents are combative you likely will be also. If your parents show racism most likely so will their children. In that light I personally believe that adults who should be having children are not and those that should not be having children are.

I also think public schools are an easy target and thus end up with a bad rap. My wife was a school superintendent in northern California and made sure her teachers treated their students with respect from the preschoolers up through the high school students. And when your treated with respect you likely will act in kind. Moreover, when a student acted out and bullied others that same behavior was often seen in the parents.

My wife showed me a video she found on -I think- the Rams face book page that showed a horrific fight between a KC and Ram fan. I can't imagine sitting there with children having to witness that and what that must create in their minds. Also the F bombs that we were surrounded by with several families with children that had come to see the Rams-all coming from the mouths of 20-30 year old males. I loved seeing the Rams and loved the nostalgic walk through the tunnels but I would not have wanted my grandchildren with me.
