We're supposed to get 2"-4" of new snow tomorrow morning. They're already warning that morning rush hour will be hazardous.
For today, most major roads are mostly clear after last Sunday's heavy dose of sleet and snow; however side streets are still a mess. I haven't driven anywhere since last Saturday but this afternoon I HAVE to pick up grandson from school. I heard a bunch of thumping and bumping around outside about an hour ago. When I peeked out the window, I saw our neighbor busting up and shoveling ice and snow from our driveway! He's probably in his late 40's.. a LOT younger than we are. We didn't ask him to do it, but are so grateful that he's a good guy willing to help us cause we can't do this kind of stuff anymore ourselves. Most of our neighbors are 65+ now, so we're all in the same boat. Just can't do the things physically that we used to.
