When pigs fly....

1962. In my lifetime that was the only year it snowed here... although... a few, very few, other times snowflakes fell but did not stick. But in '62 is was a blizzard.... snow piled up as high as the windows in our house. Schools shut down for 2 weeks. Every farmer here, which was all of us, were out towing inner tubes at outrageous speed.

Had I not taken photos, or rather my Mom taking photos, my kids and grandkids would never believe me.

pretty sure it will never happen again in my lifetime BUT... every winter we hope, we pray... just once more.
