Re: Anybody else get Snow? I got nearly a foot just outside of DC

We got sleet and then about 7-8" of snow Sunday. I haven't left my house since last Saturday. Schools were closed Monday andTuesday and will also be closed Wednesday. It's bitterly cold and we haven't seen the sun in a week so the snow is not melting. Temperatures have been in the single digits to the low 20's every day. Some of the major roads are sorta cleared (like one out of 4 lanes) with lots of accidents, cars spinning out or getting stuck in snow banks. We made sure to stock up on essentials before the snow came so we're ok. We are jonesing for time with our grandson though. We usually see him every day because it's our job to pick him up from school but he's been stuck at his dad's house due to the weather so we haven't seen him. He hasn't seen his mom in a week, poor little guy.
