I gave it an honest shot when I was at the Beach about 12 years ago. I listened to our local Top 20 Station for about 30-40 minutes to see if there was SOMETHING I might like. NOPE!! Last Summer, I tuned to that Station for about 2....3 seconds. The "sound" I heard??? Scraping a shovel on concrete was better.
To hear me talk about Music, some may think I'm narrow minded. Thing is, I grew up liking ALL sorts of Music. About 18 years ago, Jacksonville had THEEEEEEEE best Radio Station ever! It played all sorts of Music from the late 1950s to the mid 80s. You could listen for three days and not hear the same song. You could go from Bill Haley And The Comets one song and then hear Earth Wind & Fire the next.
