I think that's an extremely rare gift.
The actress Marilu Henner claims she can remember every day of her life. Well.... probably not since birth so I'm not sure at what age she began storing the info.
I have vivid memories, like Gator, and aplenty.... but I do not think in the quantity Gator does. And sure... anything can spark a memory of something I haven't thought of since it happened. But, for example, if you say "Where were you and who were you with during the 1st Niner game of of the 1983 season?" not a chance in HELL I would be able to remember that... unless, of course, the game was particularly memorable.
