Living in NC we will get an 80-85% Eclipse. Being someone who has been said to live in the dark several times over my life I can appreciate that 20-15% of light. It will be sunny/cloudy day here. Our back deck is free of trees so it should be good. We have 2 pair of glasses from the last Eclipse in 2017 so we're good to go. I hear that the areas that will have a total event may miss out because of rain? Is it a big deal in your area? All our local channels are reporting it quite a bit also giving out "Eclipse sighting/viewing parties"...I am not sure what to eat on this day.....is it a pizza type day, or a sandwich type? LOL......The next one is in 2045, so it's a good chance we won't be around, or if we are we won't know whats up anyway...LOL.......
