I can only speak about being on a carrier in my 20's
it never bothered me at all , even in work ups when they put the carrier through it paces
but under normal operating conditions ...............
the way I would check was , how much the water splashes inside the toilet.....................lol
but most of the time , when you'd look at the water inside the toilet , you wouldn't even know we were moving
might depend on if you are above deck or below deck
I know it can be worse above deck as the horizon is constantly moving , below deck you don't notice it as much
