First... you can get an 'add on' to your admission ticket which allows you to 'fast pass' a ride... (not called fast pass anymore but I forget what it's called now). You select a ride and fast pass it... then they give you a time to comeback and you get on the ride much quicker. BUT...

The ride Cars is so popular that not even your admission ticket PLUS the 'genie' option, fast pass, will get you on it... you must pay an additional $18 PER PERSON!!!!

I believe another ride or two are the same.. .Star Wars I believe is like that. We get around that by staying at the Disney Hotel which allows us to enter the park ½ hour before it officially opens and allows us to ride those rides quickly. - JamesJM
