I know Disneyland takes a lot of heat due to the crowds and mostly the expense.... the expense IS reprehensible and unscrupulous... BUT....
My family loves it there. I was first there two weeks after the grand opening; I was 6. I believe the 3 years I was in the Army were the only years I have not been to Disneyland... plus one other year here recently due to Covid. For many of those years we had season passes and went several times per year.
My oldest daughter is Disney's best customer, I think... she lives and breathes Disneyland. My son and other daughter are nearly the same... as are all my grandkids. We love the 'theme' rides.... much more than the 'thrill rides' of other amusement parks.. not that we don't like those as well, we do. But the themes in Disneyland are our first love. - JamesJM
