Our godson was being confirmed (Catholic thing) in Long Beach.
Left the house shortly after 9 am. Smooth sailing until we hit the area around Dodger Stadium. What should have taken us 30 minutes to reach or destination took us twice as long.
After reading your story I don't feel bad at all.
PS........we left Sat morning about 7 and made it home in 3 hrs. Sorry for rubbing it in.
