I go into the Dealership in full blown A Hole mode. I don't play the song n dance of smiles and pleasantries. LOLOL In fact, my last purchase...My Wife's CRV....Early in the game, I told the guy straight up....Do NOT say "great deal" in this process. There is no such thing anymore. I told him, all a buyer can do is hope Lube is used. I REFUSE to play that DUMBA$$ game where they go back n forth back n forth to get the MANAGER'S approval. I tell them...If he MUST be consulted, he better be RIGHT HERE or I walk. That whole thing is nothing but a show anyway. The guy that sold us the CRV tried some sob story about barely getting by on Commission. I told him he might wanna find another Job because Honda is KILLING it! I also REFUSE to pay Admin and "Dealer Prep" fees. When I bought MY car back in April 2011, I told the Manager that I was not paying Prep Fees. He sarcastically point out the window to some guy washing and prepping a car and tells me.....Hey Buddy, that guy isn't doing that for free. We have to pay him. I replied....HEY BUDDY, I'm no dummy. His pay comes from the already too high sticker price. Now REMOVE that PROFIT you guys call "Admin and Prep Fees". In April 2011, I was in NOOOO mood for it all. It was RIGHT in the middle of me waiting out a possible fatal diagnosis for my youngest Son and My Brother was close to death. Yep!! I cannot stand Car Dealers. ANY of them!
