with the exception that it rapes history and is 3 hours long.. but, still a great flick and the Battle of Sterling HAS to be the best period battle scene every filmed.. But its THREE hours long, so very rarely do I sit down with the intention of watching it cover to cover.. Same with The Green Mile.. its just so dadgum long.. but a great flick..
I feel the same way about The Bridge on the River Kwai. Historically inaccurate but still one of the greatest films ever made.
