I already know the answer to this but I'm going to ask anyway.
All food types to be great, or even good sometime, have to be prepared correctly. I think that applies to fish more than most foods. Poorly prepared fish is not good. Overcooking almost ALWAYS the culprit. So my question is have you tried very well prepared, professionally cooked, fish?
But like I said I already know the answer to that... you're a diver, every place you go has chefs that specialize in fish (seafood). So sure, you've tried it, still don't like it.
As I've mentioned - Seafood is just possibly my favorite.... Italians and Japanese do it better than anyone IMHO. But I do admit there are some fish I'm not at all fond of. In fact... I'm pretty much a shellfish kinda guy... and not fish. LOVE fresh caught Trout... Catfish is fantastic... Halibut is to die for... but the very 'fishy' fish I can do without.
