Hopefully I adopt your regimen as well when I get down to my preferred weight.
As you know - due to some health issues I blew up like the Hindenburg. That was my fault... I just gave up since I couldn't do what I used to do. But, it got out of hand... hence this diet I'm on.
But WOW do I have a long way to go. Weight doesn't come off like it used to. When I was young I could lose 10lbs in about 10 days... now if I lose 5lbs a month it's a good month!
The charts say I should be reaching my goal weight about mid-April.... ummmm, maybe... I'm thinking I'll be dieting until June but MAYBE the charts are right. I'm down a pant size now.
Cravings: It's odd what I crave when dieting... it's not really the foods I normally eat. For example - I crave some wine and cheese... but normally, not dieting, I rarely have wine and cheese. I'm craving chips... but again, normally I rarely eat chips. I don't really crave the things you would expect... like desserts, steak, mac and cheese, tacos, certainly not fast food. There is one exception, however...
and that would be your favorite AND mine - ice cream. I truly think ice cream is the greatest food ever invented. And Italian Gelato is the ultimate!!!!! I'm so jealous of my granddaughter who will be in Florence in a little over a month... and no doubt having 3 or 15 gelato's a day.
