I was very into telescopes about 10 years ago. My biggest scope was a Celestron 8se. Had all the bells and whistles and the GoTo GPS which allowed you to see 30,000 celestial objects. Problem was the bigger the rig, the less I used it. So I sold it and bought a Tele-Vue 76mm refractor and bought some Nagler lenses and an Orion Tritech ll tripod and now everything is grab and go. Do I miss the the GPS slewing of the Celestron? Sometimes when I’m in dark skies looking for galaxies, but I also find it more rewarding searching for celestial objects from using Sky Maps or a simple planisphere. It’s a great hobby and good luck searching the universe!
