I'm having the time of my life.... viewing planets, galaxies, nebula... BUT... it's not easy.
Big learning curve on how to use the telescope even though it's computerized. There's still a BUNCH you have to learn.
My family is disappointed.
S'ok, most people would/will be. It's not how most people think it will be... no vibrant colors, (some), and objects even in a good telescope are still tiny... well, for the most part. The Andromeda Galaxy is quite big.
I haven't yet purchased the specific filters I need for the planets... so while, (for example), Jupiter's stripes, and the giant red spot, ARE visible I need the right filter to really bring it into focus.
A little quirk of mine - I like zooming in on a 'mystery' area of the sky and then using my imagination. I'm weird that way.
