they're not running exotic schemes we've never prepared for. We've played and beaten teams with similar schemes. The Rams have one of the best coaching staffs in the league but at some point the ball is kicked off and it's up to the players to make plays. They owned us for a decade at one time - we had several different players, schemes, coaches. Why? Who knows? The league is weird like that sometimes.
They have our number because we are letting them by not changing what we do. Shanny said as much in his presser.
It is pretty clear to me that it is at least worth trying something different against them. What do we have to lose? Obviously the same old strategy isn't working.
Don't you agree?
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
