RamsDynasty
Shanny states: Neither the Rams nor the 49ers have changed their schemes in several years which makes the contest more about who makes the least amount of mistakes and whether or not they are taken advantage of.
“You try your hardest to get good players the ball in space,” Shanahan said. “And you see what they do with it and it’s a pretty simple game with both sides. We know each other well, and it usually comes to physicality in the game, who turns it over the least and who makes one more play than the other.”
To me this is damning if true because if true why would Shanny change anything? He has won every meeting (just about), however if true this makes McVay a stubborn fool, desperate to prove his way is best. In fact one would theorize that Shanny dropped that soundbite on purpose to steel McVay's resolve not to change a dang thang. The pure definition of insanity. The Ram's might be best served by surprising the Niners but now McVay being embarrassed to resort to a cheap trick to win. The whole Rocky not wanting to switch fighting styles mid match in Rocky II.
Shanny nailed it. He basically said he "owns" McVay because McVay never changes what he does so it is easy to prepare for. Shanny also admitted he doesn't change things either. But...McVay hasn't "figured him out" yet so Shanny doesn't NEED to change. Why would he? lol
Once you "figure someone out" and they don't adjust and change you can beat them almost every time and that's what we have been seeing...a stubborn coach who refused to adjust even if for only 2 games a year against these pukes!
As smart as McVay is at knowing football, it is mind blowing watching him get owned over and over and do NOTHING about it. Will that change this week? Probably not. But I still will keep hoping that McVay FINALLY gets it!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
