IMO, our O crapped the bed the whole game while Raheem's D got us turnovers that we didn't do a thing with. It we score on 2 of those turnovers, it's a different ball game.
I am not a fan of "off coverage" regardless of what the stats say but they still got multiple turnovers and played with more passion than our O did. They seemed fired up. Got turnovers. Were flying around...until they got "gassed" later in the game.
IMO, this loss was not on Raheem. It's on McVay. No preseason play for his starters bit him in his arse. His gameplan looked unimaginative and "un-McVay" like. Unfortunately every now and then it happens. Bad plan. No Adjustments. Lack of energy.
The good news is that things like this usually motivate him for the next game. I think we see an improvement this week against a weaker Falcons team. Better gameplan. Better Run game and I bet we see a little more "fire" from our O players this week.
