I still maintain if Funk was simply listed as a ST vs. RB on the roster he would be viewed differently. He is the RB4, sure. But he's there to play special teams, period. And he's good at it. I'm OK with that.
Evans is the big head scratcher for me. He's not one of the top two backups so why keep him? I would not be surprised if he is not there in the next 72 hours but who knows. Really hope Arcuri makes it through to the PS. I like his longer term depth potential.
My only guess with Perkins is they really like having a truly mobile QB to play against in practice. He's a smart kid and good athlete. I didn't see any preseason games, only highlights, but the way the ball comes out of his hand just doesn't impress me. But he had a 109.1 QB rating so that's something I suppose.
