Rams43
In no particular order…
Keeping 3rd QB Perkins. A waste of a valuable roster slot. Only thing that halfway makes sense is if they plan on dangling Perkins as trade bait for a desperate QB needy team that just had an injury?
Keeping Jake Funk. Why? He’s not an effective RB and surely his ST play could be done by another more promising player.
Keeping Bobby Evans. Gawd! Does he possess incriminating photos of McVay? The guy lacks ‘want to’ and that’s unforgivable.
Three VERY promising players were cut so that Rams could keep these guys. Players that might not pass through waivers and will haunt us on another team for years. Hopefully not on 49ers or Seahawks. Arrrrrgh!
All the other cuts were understandable and made sense to me. Sigh…
We did win the Superbowl with 3 QB's last year so, there's that.
Looks like McVay sees something in Perkins to keep him around again. Maybe he wants to give him one more year to develop?
I don't see it happening again next year though. We either will promote Perkins to #2 or find someone else.
Agreed on Jake! Why the Funk are we keeping him? He must be really valuable on ST's.
Lol on Evans!!! I am scratching my head on that one too brother!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
