It seems like this is an unnecessary restriction for teams, and one that definitely hinders under the radar players from getting opportunities.
For what purpose does this rule exist??
Def needs to be updated, especially in the player safety day and age we are in....
56 man roster and 50 active would be much better
agreed, with an appropriate bump in the cap to cover the extra guys at the bottom of the roster.
