but things change. I don't know what the limit should be... but I know the way it is it brings about a 'risk' situation, the area of risk is a team call, that I think is too risky if you want to insure a fair game. Obviously it can't be 'perfect'... just better.
More than the roster limit, and here I have NO CLUE how to fix this, is the inability to get backup QBs, or any position for that matter but most critical with QBs, more prepared with the starting units. That may be impossible, in fact. I've heard the argument that with QB's there simply are no capable QBs left after you fill the starting 32 and even among the starting 32 not all are starting caliber... and I think there is truth in that... but I'm SURE that they could be better with ample preparation. - JamesJM
