I can give my opinion on something that kinda goes with this issue......IMO when the NFL tries to address an issue they make it more complex then what the initial issue was.....so for right now I would say it needs to stay as it is....all teams are dealing with this same issue....teams still end up winning the SB....we did it with this very thing in our face last year.....other teams did it before us.....
If everyone is trying to alleviate things that happen naturally and you try to find ways to make those issues become less of an issue you will go into a worm hole that will never have an answer. Injuries happen in violent sports....if you try to find ways to make those issues less important by increasing the players available you could also dilute the aspect of the game itself.
IMO part of the game and the road to the SB is how teams deal with it as they do now....players get hurt, players get sick....that's the way we all go day to day....having a 53 man roster...goes to 55...goes to 60....it dilutes the game....let the game go as it is....roll the dice, be ready for what you can be ready for...everyone is in the same boat.....sometimes that brings into the equation of your medical team, your staff....that is IMO where teams rise to the top....Not the number of players available as players go down.....
