The better use of meaningful analytics?
Including GPS over timed 40’s?
Planning for year ahead needs while mindful of quality of draft positions a year or two ahead?
Only drafting players that just LOVE football? Including oftentimes team captains?
Simply having better scouts that are explicitly told exactly what types of players McVay and his asst coaches are looking for?
Heck, I think Rams are always loaded with better coaches. McVay emphasizes coaches that are teacher types. That’s beyond huge.
Rams have created a culture and winning atmosphere that attracts top FA’s.
Rams are willing to take risks on personnel that most teams are unwilling to take. Sometimes it doesn’t work but sometimes it’s a HR.
Imo, all the above results in putting a generally more talented roster on the field each week.
