Is they look at these mid to late round guys as what roles can they perform. Not whether they have a potential superstar in the player given a measure of his athletic scores. Go get guys who love ball and who can nail down roles and pack them around the stars.
Also they do take guys who are athletic. They mix in "shots" at those types like Harris for example.
