VM: I agree. what pisses me off about this situation is the rams will only get a 5th round comp pick at most according to what my sons tell me about the current comp pick formulas. that is a blockbuster deal and should warrant a 3rd round comp pick. i don't blame VM for taking the money. looks like the Bills are expecting to play the Rams in the next superbowl and loading up accordingly.
Garrett: agreed. he could not be ignored last preseason. i can't wait to see what Garrett will do next year. i'll throw T Lewis into that mix as well after another off season after staying healthy for a while. another path would be putting Bobby Wagner next to E Jones in the middle. Jones showed some flashes of quality pass rush up the middle late in the season besides pass coverage and run stopping ability. Wagner could teach him a thing or 2 about all of that ( and Raheem Morris about defending the NFC West btw). Although it's not how Pete Carrol used BW, i think BW would excel at pass rushing up the middle. Having a pair of ILBs that are solid and interchangeable in those 3 functions could easily make up for not having a superstar across from Leonard Floyd
