It was a lot to give up, which is why I'm sure the Rams didn't expect it. Had the offer been known, the Rams could have gone in another direction.
But FA is multiphased. No one should out as perfect fit or in price band Rams were targeting. I am not lamenting and Alan Robinson is a very sweet consolation.
Millers impact was really not realized until playoffs. Important to note when we realize we also were missing some key pieces on defense. We have some in the pipe and we may identify someone who can have similar impact in coming months or during season.
I look forward to team retooling rather than running back with same old team. It is better to shake things up because complacency and arrogance is also historically flawed imo. Ask Tampa.
