I understand what you are saying. But 5 years can be looked at in a couple of ways.
There is a track record of success. That's good.
But there is also a 5 year pattern of spending future assets. I think there is a law of diminishing returns for such a strategy.
We have fewer assets than we did. And a gap to fill before we start having draft assets again. And the pressure of finding diamonds in the rough again and again.
I think the 5 years create a drag that will grow as we go forward.
