As he points out most of these fans live here in So Cal. Same with Cowboy and Packer fans. He points out the reason: Thank you NFL-over 20 years of no professional football here (although one could argue San Diego is "here"
Think about it: children born when the Rams left are now adults and raising their own families. He argues it will take several years of winning football to begin to dent the fandom displayed here for these three teams-especially the brats from San Francisco.
What about the Dodgers and Giants-how come when the Giants are at Dodger Stadium the stadium is still packed with Dodger fans. ? Reason: there was no hiatus of 20 years or more-in fact none at all-of no professional baseball here.
So when all those Niner fans show up Sunday lets not blame L.A. fans. The real mark is the NFL.
Let's kick some Whiner ass this weekend to turn the tide in fandom in SoCal. 3 or 4 Super Bowl wins in the next decade should make L.A. a Rams town....at least they can make the kids growing up now in L.A. if not the adults become die hard Rams fans....
