Was talking with my son about the players the Rams will try to keep versus the ones they'll almost certainly let walk. We didn't entirely agree.
Here's what I think and I'd love to hear what some of y'all think about it.
Ashawn Robinson: Similar to Brockers; too much for the position so not worth the big bucks.
SJD: Iffy here. Missing so much of the year is going to knock down his value. But I still think it'll be more than the Rams can pay. The emergence of Gaines changes the paradigm.

I think these two are linked. Early in the year (Like, game 1 I think) we saw Gaines at NT and SJD at DE, I think this is the way they want to go. Robinson has been playing well, but has a $9 mil. cap number. I think they'll either move or cut Robinson and sign SJD. Bobby Brown will be Gaines backup. (ps. what does the Rams site have Brown listed at 235 pounds?)
