You might think so. But, no.
The Rams pushed a lot of salary out of 2021 and into 2022 and beyond because they had so much dead money in 2021.
For example ...
Donald's salary this year is $1.9M. Next year it's essentially $14.25 ($5M roster bonus plus $9.25M salary).
Ramsey makes $1.5M this year, $15M next year.
Woods makes $2.5M this year, $13.5M next year ($3.5M bonus + $10M salary).
Floyd makes $2M this year, $16.5M next year.
Kupp makes $1.5M this year, $14.5M next year.
Whitworth: $4M to $13M.
Those 6 players alone will make $73.35M more in 2022 than they do his year, eating up all the dead money that comes off the books and then some.
As things stand the Rams have about $3.3M in cap space for 2022. [

They will do things to create more space. But some of those moves (restructures, extensions) just create space in 2021 by taking space from future caps. Lather, rinse, repeat ...
