According to spotrac Whit has a $16mil cap hit next year, but only a $1.6 mil dead cap if released. They're usually pretty good on this.
He played last season for $4mil not including the previous year prorated signing bonus.
Would he play for the same in 2022 with a contract re-do? Don't know. But he's smart enough to know that $4mil for a year's work is nothing to sneeze at.
Some of the decision may depend as much on the development of Alaric Jackson. If, for instance, they think Jackson can back up LT next year, and that another year of development behind Whit will make him ready to take over in 2023, they might try to keep Whit. this means Noteboom is gone. If they don't have confidence in that, I imagine their move would be to try and sign Noteboom because they know he can start. The issue, as always, is money and cap space.
I really think Wolford is gone. He is so very limited. They kept Perkins because they knew some team would scoop him up if he wasn't on the 53. My bet is that Perkins becomes the new #2.
