It's a gamble either way your acting like if they even make the pat. They would have automatically won in OT. They could have lost either way they play for OT and they lose or they miss the PAT it's blocked etc. You can't score from two yards out you don't deserve to win. Really you fault a team for going for two and trying to win rather than play for a tie? We just see things differently but if mcvay makes that call I'm not complaining.
and in OT you can at worst, kick off and play football. Not one play one-hand blackjack. THAT is gambling. If something goes wrong, there is no next play.
In OT, there is a next play, a chance for a stop, a pick, a fumble, force a punt. A chance to earn a win
Ravens are playing themselves from a lock to the playoffs to a 50-50 chance

I get that you would play for overtime, which is a tie at the end of regulation. But your logic is flawed you assume way to much. We have covered it all ways possible there is no guarantee you get more than one play in OT. Even you mentioned fumbled kickoff, returned kickoff TD etc. You are gambling either way do you not see that. You can play the odds as much as you want but I take two yards to score over 75 anyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
