I think Morris has neutered DW with his soft zone strategy. Morris has literally deprived DW of his strengths.
And I suspect that DW is but one such semi-neutered player.

How about, one screen shot that proves what you think your untrained eyes *think* you are seeing
and what you *suspect* Morris is doing to *neuter* DW
or a piece of video.
But you can just repeat same things that have been proven wrong (i.e. than Morris is doing things completely differently than Staley)
And you ask why we cannot have a civil debate?
Because you cannot debate people who have bad faith.
It is bad faith the advocate a DC firing when he's a top 10-15 defense in the NFL. That is what you do to a bottom 5 defense.
It is bad faith to say that Morris' scheme is not Staley's scheme
But, you have every right to do it. And you will. It's okay.
But there is an axiom in the NFL that says "Not many players stays the same year-to-year, the majority either get better or worse"
Maybe DW just got worse. He's changed from exclusively outside, to someone who plays both inside and outside.
Maybe you can ask yourself if he's less comfortable inside and is better outside. He had to play more inside
because to moved up the depth chart into Troy Hill's position.
Just, at least CONSIDER that before you blame everything and the kitchen sink on Morris.
and remember the Rams defensive passer rating is 7th in the NFL.

7th is not bad for a secondary. Sure it is not 1st, but it is 7th
