Ramsey is being wasted in the star position at least with the way the rest of the D is being played or called around him. It's just hard for him to affect the game when he isnt around the other teams best talent. He should be on Deebo on those crucial downs when everyone in the stadium knows that QB is going to throw a slant inside to Deebo....and he should be covering Kittle at times as well...Mixing up where he is and how he is used is part of using his talent the best way possible. When I can sit in front of my TV at home look at how things are lined up and tell my wife and kids where the ball is going and why and be right so often it has to be obvious to Morris as well...Why is he so unwilling to make big changes and start trying to do things differently than he is? It was clear in that game that what he planned and how it was being played and adjusted to by the Niners was going to fail, he made some adjustments but not what I would call good ones or what he should have done.
Just look at how Ramsey blew up...I had no issue with him doing that, I think he was pissed off at what they were doing and how it was playing out...Not pissed off for no reason being a me guy, He was frustrated with the plan and with Rochelle I think anyway...I am no mind reader and I don't know that to be a fact but it sure seemed that way to me.
Ramsey just can't have the desired effect I think people expect when he is lining up inside and teams can simply move players away from him based on personnel packages and the Rams tendencies which are starting to be too easy to read.
I have no argument with you on the Rams O, it was awful, the game plan wasn't good, the play calling wasn't good and the QB was lousy. When he just threw that pass up for grabs on the first drive I looked at my son and said it's going to be a long night. That kind of disregard for the ball with the field position they has and it only being second down was not a good look on his game awareness and the fact that he could have run for yards if he just took off and played it out the right way, the safe way,
