He was a corner/saftey hybrid in college so I do see the value in having a guy in the middle of the secondary who can make impact plays and not just be on an island. I also think that Ramsey gets 'bored' sometimes and playing him at the star keeps him engaged and in the action (think about how boring being a lockdown corner must be. If you're doing your job , you're literally just running routes with the receiver who will never get targeted lol).
Problem is, our other corners and safeties are not playing well enough to substantiate taking your best cover guy off of the opponent's best receiver

What's so bad about negating the opponents best receiver with Ramsey? I would take that any day, it sounds like the Rams are overthinking this thing.
Board or not, I don't care. I don't want the "Adams" of the world lighting up our secondary if we could do something about it.
Maybe the bye week will help Williams solve whatever is preventing him from getting his act together?
Ramsey being board sounds like a football version of a first world problem to me.
