I don't see how this argument makes any sense. Morris is a career nobody in terms of DC's. He's never been any good at it at any level. If the defense is the same, the primary players are the same and the offense isn't turning the ball over, it just doesn't make any sense that Morris is replicating what Staley was doing. Morris is the key difference between last year and this year and the defense has taken a step back.

And that's comparing where they were at the start of last season. By the end of last season, the defense was giving up less than 300 yards of offense to the opposition until Donald got hurt before the Divisional game. This year, the points and total yards have gone up every week. The defense is actually getting worse the more Morris is the DC. 465 yards and 37 points against an AZ team that we held to 7 points and 214 yards the last time we faced them(5 games ago).
