Yes but when they tackle, the Chargers wrap up and stick their man. Rams tackling has been horrible.
If that's the point then you can't put that on the DC. Tackling is on the players.
And it's the coaches job to make guys focus on their weak spots. Not to mention putting players in a good position to make tackles.
Kind of like an OL that is asked to constantly pass pro instead of getting to run block and initiate contact instead of having to react. Our defense is constantly reacting instead of acting. That's coaching.

Considering the passive overall approach, yes. This team is not being taught to be aggressive and hard hitting. No one's suggesting that Morris should teach them "how" to tackle but it's definitely on the coach that the defense went from hard hitting and aggressive like last year to what they are now.
