I'm not sure why? Bradford had plenty of opportunities to prove himself and a variety of teams to do it with. His best year was in Minnesota and he still only put up 20TD on over 500 pass attempts. His career 3.7% TD is very low. His YPA were never that high either.
I agree that he wasn't in the greatest of situations much of his time as a Ram. His talent was better than his Rams numbers and I think he showed that once he went elsewhere. But, better than what he did as a Ram still wasn't as good as Everett as a Ram or even as good as he was with the Saints.
I'm not a Bradford basher at all but Everett was better and would be better if given the opportunity to play in his prime for McVay's Rams. Everett was more durable, passed for more yards and more TD's and won playoff games. Other than completion %, there really isn't anything that Bradford had on Everett and even that's questionable considering how different the era was. If Everett had played during a time where many pass completions were just extended handoffs, his completion % would have been a lot higher.
