a guy hiding things for weeks or plays for weeks.....IMO he just didn't do it because he was into other things. I would think when you have a team LOADED with weapons it would be natural to not so much overlook a player but be so involved that the ideas are not there in that week.
It could also be that he had certain plans for individuals and the time was right to utilize him...Find it kinda coincidental that the week the words emerge from DJax he's used that weekend.....Hey that stuff can happen in no way would I suspect Sean being pressured by a story in the media.....if he were that easy we'd be in big trouble at his position IMO.
Every game is a hard win in itself, I can't see a guy HOLDING back opportunities to score in a game...no way....hiding IMO is the wrong word, maybe waiting for the right time is better?
I called on Higs to have a big game...he hasn't shown out since week 1.....were they hiding him until Sunday? he had only 40 yards, but those were much more then just 40 yards...6 points on 1, couple 1st downs on others......I think it's a matter of timing, and the coach simply keeping all the weapons on his mind week to week....
Which seems more likely?
1. McVay forgot that a healthy DJ was on his roster?
2. Or that McVay rightly figured that he could beat the Bears and Colts without featuring DJ? But that unleashing DJ vs the Bucs could be devastating in a critical game?
Easy choice for me.
